West Cheshire Network

Image1West Cheshire Network provides services to Adults with a learning disability in Chester, Ellesmere Port and Neston. Our services are provided to people who live in their own homes in the community who need support ranging from 1hr per day to 24hrs per day. Some of our service users live alone, others live in houses with up to 4 tenants. A large percentage live at home with family and use our services on a short term planned basis to give themselves or their carers a break.

Our services provide high quality support and work to the following principles, Values and Aims:

Specialist Service for people with Autism and / or challenging behaviour.

18 tenancies in 8 houses which comprise of 1, 2 and 3 bedroomed houses and bungalows.

Specialist ‘move on’ service for people with Autism and / or challenging behaviour.

Stanney Lane – Group Leader - Sue Ridley.

4 tenancies.

Supported Living service for Adults with a learning disability.

Short Stay Service for adults with Autism and / or challenging behaviour.

18 Dover drive – 2 places - Group Leader – Steph Harvey.

Short Stay Service for adults with a learning disability.

20 Dover Drive – - 4 places - Group Leader – Steph Harvey.

97 Pooltown road – 4 places - Group Leader – Nicky Able.

1 Beech Grove – 4 places - Group Leader – Nicky Able.

Currently there are approximatley170 staff working within the West Cheshire Network. This includes:

1 Team Manager – Kate Fleming

1 Assistant Team Manager – Stuart Challinor.

7 Group Leaders.

5 Administrative staff.

155 support staff.

Each of the Group Leaders manages a specific service area and take’s responsibility for training and developing their staff.
